For 40 years the Labrador Fishermen's Union Shrimp Company (LFUSC) has harvested and processed high- quality seafood, including cod, scallops, snow crab, capelin and shrimp from the waters of the North Atlantic.

It operates processing plants along the coast of Labrador, Canada, employs hundreds of local residents and is a major partner in development of the local economy.

Labrador Shrimp Company Makes a Donation of $20,000 to Air Daffodil

Air Daffodil is a program which helps local people from Labrador travelling back and forth to St John's for cancer treatment, etc. The program covers the cost for two trips per year for the patient and one trip for an escort. Anyone wanting to avail of this program should contact the Canadian Cancer Society in St. John's at 1-888-753-6520 or Grenfell Health in St Anthony at 709-454-3399 for full details. We encourage all our members and their families to check on this availability.
